Eighth Grade Night & Curriculum Night

Curriculum Night is Wednesday, January 10 at 6 p.m. On this night, you will have an opportunity to hear about the course selection process and how the high school four-year plan of courses connects to college and career plans. You and your child will also be able to tour our electives and learn more about them. Please RSVP for curriculum night using the link below. It is important that you RSVP so that we have an individualized itinerary ready to go for you. After you leave Curriculum Night, you will have some time to discuss courses with your child before 8th grade night when these choices are finalized.

*Curriculum Night does not take the place of 8th Grade Night. It will be held on Thursday, January 18. Both events are important for the 8th grade enrollment process.

Eighth Grade Night is Thursday, January 18. Eighth grade night is when you will finalize your child's enrollment in high school and complete the course selection process. We also have an activities fair where your child can learn about our extracurricular opportunities.

New this year: 8th grade students will be matched with current CLS student guides who will help them navigate the evening. To help match students by interests, we would like all 8th graders to fill out this interest survey.

We will run two different 8th grade night sessions. Please attend the one assigned to you based on your last name.

5:00- 6:30 p.m.: Last names beginning with A, C, D, H, I, J, K, N, O, P, Q, S, Z

7:00- 8:30 p.m.: Last names beginning with B, E, F, G, L, M, R, T, U, V, W, X, Y

Both events will be held in the Crystal Lake South theater. Check your email for more information.
